Govt's liabilities rise 1.5% in March 2019 quarter http://bit.ly/31PNpo3

Government's total liabilities reached Rs 84.68 lakh crore by March 2019. At Dec 2018 end, the total liabilities stood at Rs 83.40 lakh crore which means that current liability is by up 1.5%. Public debt accounted for 89.5% of the total outstanding liabilities at end-March 2019. Nearly 28.27% of the outstanding dated securities had a residual maturity of less than 5 years.
