Stocks alternately swung between positive and negative zone in afternoon trade. At 13:14 IST, the barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex, was up 7.63 points or 0.02% at 36,178.04. The Nifty 50 index was up 2.35 points or 0.02% at 10,861.05.
