    All coins, 50 paise and above, are legal tender: RBI https://ift.tt/2NdP9UT

    The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has said that all coins of denomination 50 paise and above are legal tender irrespective of design and should be accepted. The central bank has also said that all bank branches have been instructed to accept coins and the central bank will act against concerned banks for non-compliance.
